Pedal Boats - Canal Bikes
Amsterdam is at its best from the water and famous for its bikes. Combine the two and you have Pedal Boat! Canal biking is the ultimate way to enjoy the capital city. Individually, in groups or with your school. You can go bike your own route or go on a scavenger hunt.
Rijksmuseum, Leidseplein, Anne Frank House and Keizersgracht/Leidsestraat.
During this 1½ hours tour you crisscross the 17th-century ring of canals while answering all kinds of serious and jokey questions. There are two routes available: start Rijksmuseum-end Anne Frank House and vice versa. Minumum of 12 persons.
In the summer they are daily opened from 10am-6pm. On warm summernights they often stay open until 9.30pm. After the end of october you can return the bike until 5.30pm at the moorings Leidseplein, Rijsksmueseum and Westerkerk.
Special for schools
Are you looking for a unique, sporty and fun way to get to know Amsterdam? Come canal bike with us! The students will go on the water in groups of 5 and will get to know Amsterdam in a playful way with the scavenger hunt. They will answer questions, read some fun facts and enjoy the view. Afterwards the answers are checked and a winner will be announced.
The scavenger hunt is specially made for students and starts and ends on the intersection of the Keizersgracht and the Leidsestraat.
