Beurs van Berlage
The Beurs van Berlage, former Stock Exchange of Amsterdam (1898-1903), by architect H.P. Berlage is nowadays known as one of the city’s most prestigious venues for conferences, meetings, receptions and dinners. It is also known for its exhibitions on design and architecture. The building is considered the start of modern architecture in the Netherlands. It’s brick-architecture is typically Dutch and offers an amazing atmosphere in which early 20th century-functionalist details are combined with a romanesque splendor. The Beurs van Berlage Café is open every day from 10am to 6pm and boasts a lovely Art Nouveau interior.

You start with a cup of tea or coffee, after which you will be touring the unique Beurs van Berlage for an hour. The tour concludes with a climb up to the top of the bell tower and magnificent views of the city. All this will cost you only € 14.50.
