The well-known expression of Haesje Claes has always been: "From greaves to caviar: something for everyone.” Besides its main menu, foodlovers can count on the season specialties, such as asparagus, deer, Zeeuwse clams or New Herring.
This nice restaurant is also open during lunchtime. Amongst the wide variety of lunchmeals you will find the 'kroket' sandwich. We applaud visitors who will give this sandwich a try, because it just can't get more Dutch and more tastier than this!
So whether you crave a quick bite, an extensive lunch, a romantic dinerparty or a big group event, everything is possible at Haesje Claes. With the nicely decorated interior and different types of dining sections, you will find it to be a cosy place to spend your time.
From April till October, it is also possible to dine outside. Haesje Claes' terrace at the Roskamsteeg is one of the truly hidden treasures of the city. This terrace comes highly recommended for those who would like to escape citycrowds and want to feel a nice cool breeze during warm days.
De Koningshut is a pub that is part of the Haesje Claes empire, just a few steps further down the street. Cheers!
