Cave Rokin is located in a beautiful building from the 17th century at the Rokin. The shop started celling mainly French and Italian wines in 1987 but soon revealed itself as one of the most exclusive wine specialists in town. Nowadays they sell wines from all over the world.
In the winecellar, where the shop is located, you can find almost two thousand bottles of wine, whiskey, gin, cognac, and liqueurs. The shop has become nationally and internationally well known with all wine lovers. In the back of the shop there are hidden some very exclusive old bottles, resting behind a grid, waiting to be opened someday.
Apart from the more exclusive wines Cave Rokin also sells a lot of affordable wines from unknown wine countries like Georgia, Lebanon and Bulgaria. The owner has a lot of knowledge about all of his wines and offers a great deal of personal advice to have you find the perfect wine to complement the flavour of your dish.
Wine tasting
In the cellar of Cave Rokin there are often winetasting hosted by the famous Dutch wine connoisseur Noël Vanwittenbergh and Sander Kelderman. They know how to share all their knowledge about the wines and often gives advice about which wines will compliment your food. The wine tastings at Cave Rokin have different themes and entry levels.
